Velkommen til Garborg Lodge!

Garborg 6-056 was organized on January 24, 1948. The Lodge currently has 90 members.

Meetings

Garborg Lodge meets at 6:30 p.m. on the Third Tuesday of the month, at Calvary Lutheran Church, Berean Hall, 547 Rose Ave. in Modesto. In addition to a brief business meeting there are generally heritage presentations. Some meeting begin with a pot-luck dinner. There are no meetings in the months of July, August and December, 2002.

SPECIAL EVENTS- FUN FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY

In July and August there are social events planned for the entire family to enjoy. The Christmas Party each year includes a Nisse as well as the traditional American Santa Claus. The Lodge will have a booth at Skandi-Fest in Turlock on September 27-29 and a Heritage Booth at International Days at Graceda Park in Modesto on October 5-6.
