The district also operates a recreation center that we've lovingly named Camp Norge. Available for Recreation Vehicles, tenters, hikers, one-night-stays or several night stays, it's located at Alta, California, in the Sierra Nevada foothills. Access is via Interstate 80, and it's about equidistant between Sacramento and Reno, Nevada. Sons of Norway membership is a requirement for use.
