Velkommen til Snorre Lodge!
Snorre Lodge 6-061 began August 18, 1951. The lodge
has approximately 140 members and prides itself on the
many family activities and socials. Our members are
from the Greater East Bay including Fremont, Hayward,
San Leandro, San Lorenzo, Castro Valley, Livermore,
Dublin, Pleasanton and Milpitas; plus some in other
states! We welcome all to our lodge. Please contact

Meetings
Snorre Lodge usually meets the 2nd Friday of each
month at 7:00PM at the Hill & Valley Clubhouse, 1808 "B" Street in Hayward. We run short business meetings followed by a cultural or heritage program. Our upcoming Friday programs are:
- February 10 - Musical Presentation
- March 3 - Hardanger Embroidery & Rosemaling
- April 21 - Cultural Program TBA
- May 12 - Syttende Mai Cultural Celebration
- June 9 - Midsummer Pølsefest
- September 8 - Lutefisk Dinner
- October 13 - Cultural Heritage Slide Presentation
- October 27 - Torsk and Talent Night
- November 10 - Cultural Presentation
- December 8 - Julebørd
Our Saturday night dinners include our Annual Crab
Feed in January, Corned Beef and Cabbage Dinner in
March, and Smorgasbørd in September. Our Lodge also
participates with an information and sales booth at
community festivals - Tartan Day Festival (April) and
Celtic Festival (June) @ Ardenwood Park in Fremont, and the Norway Day Festival at Fort Mason on May 6 and 7.
Snorre Lodge 6-061, Hayward is a visionary lodge
always looking for outreach opportunities and new
events for our members. We offer a scholarship to our
members in the name of the Roald Wick Scholarship
Fund. Our Lodge prides itself on fraternalism,
friendship and good times. People enjoy our dinners
and our warm atmosphere. We encourage involvement of
families including children and teens. ANYONE
interested in Scandinavian culture and heritage is
welcome!
