Welcome to District Six and thank you for visiting our website.  We have about 8000 members in California, Colorado, Utah, Nevada and Arizona.  District Six is an integral part of Sons of Norway International, with over 400 chapters in the United States, Canada and Norway.

Our district is the proud owner of Camp Norge, our beautiful 46 acre camp in the Sierra Nevada.  Camp Norge is host to many cultural activities such as weekend workshops in rosemaling or folk dancing.  Our two week children’s language and heritage camp is held here.  On the three day weekends of Memorial Day, 4th of July and Labor Day we gather for fun, food and fellowship.  Being a member of District Six means you can rent a room here or even the entire camp.  What a great venue for your next family reunion or scout or church outing.

District Six is proud to offer a scholarship to Concordia Language Villages in Bemidji, Minnesota as well as three $1000 scholarships to an accredited four year university or college in the United States.

Our members are proud of their rich Norwegian heritage and celebrate it throughout the year at the many festivals and events held all over District Six.  Be sure to click on the “events” button below to see what is happening in your area.
